v1.7 is the new official release of polar.: redesigned reminders, settings by category and, for the first time, two builds to choose from.

choose the 100% offline build, with no account and no internet permission, or the online build, which adds cloud sync for people who have been granted an account by the developer.
reminders redesign
an upcoming-alert summary, status filters, date groups and richer cards with description, time, date, location and quick actions.

appearance, notifications, data and help in dedicated screens. every preference shows an icon, a description and its current value.
40 list icons
the icon picker grew from 16 to 40 options, with icons for shopping, education, health, fitness, travel, finance, leisure, family and home.

about the online build
please read this before downloading it. the online build is not an open service: it is administered by the developer.
you can't create an account
there is no sign-up in the app or on this website. the online build is administered by the developer (rezzt.dev), who personally decides which people are granted an account.
just as good without one
without an account, the online build works exactly as well as the offline build: tasks, lists, calendar, reminders, statistics, themes, widget and backups. an account only adds cloud sync.
no account, no connection
until you sign in with an account granted by the developer, the online build makes no network connections: no supabase, no microservices, no background calls. your data stays on your device.
no account? you are not missing any feature. and if you'd rather the internet permission not be declared at all, download the offline build.

send a request to the developer by email. the button opens your mail app with the subject and a short template already filled in.
